ShopComm formalizes a strategic partnership with Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) to strengthen student competency and support talent development in Indonesia's growing retail and marketing industry.

ShopComm has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH), marking a new chapter in developing young talent and strengthening the connection between industry and academia.

The partnership is designed to create meaningful touchpoints between the academic world and the fast-evolving landscape of shopper marketing, brand experience, retail media, creative production, data and operations.

What the Partnership Covers

Through this MoU, ShopComm will provide internship placements, guest lectures, project‑based learning, and exposure to real client work—giving students a clearer understanding of how ideas, strategy, and execution come together in the fast‑moving world of shopper marketing, retail and brand experience.

Fanny Rahmasari, GM People & Communications of ShopComm, shared:

“At ShopComm, we believe growth happens when learning meets real‑world experience. This partnership with UPH is our way of investing in young minds—helping them discover how creativity, strategy, and empathy shape meaningful impact in the industry.”

Why This Partnership Matters

The gap between academic knowledge and industry readiness remains one of the most persistent challenges in Indonesia's talent market. By partnering with UPH, one of Indonesia's most respected private universities, ShopComm aims to close that gap directly at the source.

For ShopComm, investing in education is also an investment in the industry's future. As the modern trade landscape grows more complex, the demand for skilled professionals in areas such as brand activation, in-store media, and consumer behavior analysis continues to rise.

Building an Ecosystem, Not Just a Partnership

This MoU reflects ShopComm's broader vision: to contribute not only to brand and retail growth, but also to the development of a stronger, more capable marketing workforce in Indonesia.

With this collaboration, ShopComm and UPH take a shared step toward building an ecosystem where education and industry grow together. Producing graduates who are not just job ready, but industry ready.
